This album [Love Is Hell] sounds like his old band Whiskeytown. He oscillates between great records like this and rubbish like Rock N Roll, so it’s hard to say you’re a fan. He’s always cancelling shows too, isn’t he? Breaking his arm or getting a sore throat. He was due on our show and, lo and behold, he cancels that too. Talented but irritating, I’d say.
