Undoubtedly my favourite song of the tour. And had you asked me before the tour what I thought would become my favourite song of the tour, this would have been nowhere near the top of that list, especially when the tour included ‘New York, New York’, ‘16 Days’ and ‘This House is Not For Sale’, as well as numerous new tracks.

But it is. It gave me goosegumps when I heard it in Dublin, and somehow did exactly the same in Manchester, probably more so. This studio version almost doesn’t do it justice now.

I love Ryan Adams and will always respect his wishes with regards bootlegs and live recordings etc, but really, you must beg, borrow or steal to hear the Acoustic Nightmare recordings of this song.
